Here is a resource I found through a teacher group on Edmodo. It is called PowerMyLearning and it seems to be similar to BlendSpace, in that educators can create playlists of content for students with single click access. What is intriguing about PowerMyLearning is that activities and content have been matched to CCSS, making the library of content searchable by standard. I also like that results can be limited by iPad compatible content, I have had more than one face-palm moment realizing too late that I did not check compatibility of an activity before pushing the content onto my students' iPads. That said the amount of iPad content is very limited, so I see this resource more as a complement to BlendSpace in my classroom and not a replacement.
Pros:
I am excited to follow how the library of content is expanded at PowerMyLearning because when they have a robust library of content (especially the iPad compatible content) this will be a powerful tool for the blended teacher to use and ensure that activities are matched to CCSS.
Pros:
- Connected and vetted CCSS digital learning resource
- Fully searchable by grade, resources, delivery method, and standards
- iPad countability information
- Limited content
- Very limited iPad compatible content
